Robotsread does not have a registered legal entity yet. The operator of this service has not yet registered a company, designated a jurisdiction, or established a registered address. This policy states the data practices of the service as it currently operates. Until a legal entity is registered, no legally binding data-processing agreement can be formed.
What data is collected
Robotsread is a stateless diagnostic tool. It does not create accounts, store user profiles, or persist data server-side. The only data processed is:
- The URL you enter — it is sent to the server, used to fetch the page and its robots.txt, and discarded once the response is returned. No permanent record of the URL is kept.
- The responses from the target page and its robots.txt — these are held in memory only long enough to extract the four indexability signals and produce the verdict. They are not stored, logged, or forwarded.
Cookies and tracking
Robotsread does not set cookies, use web storage, or employ any tracking or analytics tools. The service has no third-party embeds, fonts loaded from Google Fonts are served via a standard <link> tag, and no analytics script is present on any page.
Data sharing
No data is shared with third parties. The URL you submit is fetched by the service itself and is not transmitted to any other service, API, or analytics provider.
Third-party requests
When you check a URL, the service fetches that URL and its origin’s robots.txt on your behalf. Those requests originate from the service’s infrastructure, not from your browser. The target server will see the request as coming from the service’s IP address with the user-agent Robotsread/1.0.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date at the top will be revised. No active notification of changes is sent or can be sent, as the service does not collect contact information.
